Our members include Community Development Corporations, Community Development Organizations, neighborhood associations, resident leaders, funders, lenders, public partners, civic institutions, businesses, and aligned organizations working to cultivate thriving, people-centered neighborhoods.

The Community Development Council is for eligible nonprofit organizations that are principally or substantially engaged in equitable community development activities, programming, or services. This council represents the core CDC and CDO voice within the BLDG Memphis network.

Community Development Council members are BLDG Memphis’ voting members. Affiliate Council and Neighborhood Council members participate as supporting members, helping strengthen the broader network through partnership, learning, resident voice, and community development engagement.
